By John Howsmon I’ve worked with 5 families PCS-ing to Fort Lee.  They’ve come to Turner Forest looking for great schools and a place to call home while they serve their duty station at Fort Lee.  While helping these families, I’ve found that there are 2 things that you have to know about Turner Forest:   1. Location, location, location!  I’m sure you’ve heard this from Real Estate Agents in the past, but it is true! We’re close to Ft.Lee and that makes for an easy commute of about 20 minutes (15 miles).  But we’re also close to great shopping (White Oak Village Shopping Center – 10 min) and great entertainment (Downtown Richmond – 15 mins) and that makes for an easier life. 2. Two Words: PEACE AND QUIET! You’ll find both in Turner Forest.  As I mentioned in point 1, we’re only 15 minutes from the City, but we’ll surprise you with the wooded acre plus home sites and the peaceful setting.  Driving home will be like lowering your blood pressure.  You’ll be able to enjoy nature in your back yard, not your neighbors.
