Main Street Homes on Parade

October 15, 2015

Untitled-3 Every October, the Home Building Association of Richmond hosts the Parade of Homes, where builders in the Richmond area can enter their new homes for judging and public touring. Visitors from around the area descend to visit these show homes, which are judged by an esteemed panel before the Parade starts. Main Street Homes had multiple homes in the Parade and took home 6 awards!
Main Street Homes builds in communities across the Richmond area, so, naturally, the Parade of Homes is a perfect way to showcase our stunning homes. From smaller homes to completely custom estate homes, Main Street Homes competed in many categories, where they won numerous awards. Here is a brief recap detailing Main Street’s victories in the 2015 Richmond Parade of Homes!
Untitled-4 We were honored to win three Silver Awards for our outstanding model homes. The Raleigh in Collington, the Brookshire in Diascund Creek and the Treyburn III in Foxfield won the Silver Awards in the $390,000-$450,000, $460,000-$500,000 and $501,000-$550,000 categories, respectively. It is easy to see why– all three homes have such unique elevations, offering residents a true sense of individual style.
Our Lancaster II model in Westerleigh won a Gold Award, as well as our Westchester Grand model in Hallsley which won a gold award and best curb appeal in the $550,000-$600,000 and $691,000-$750,000, respectively. These two homes are stunning craftsman examples of the care & quality put into a Main Street home. With exceptional architectural details and functional features like massive front porches, these two gems remain some of the most popular plans in the Main Street portfolio– the judges agreed!

Last but not least, our most recent show home, the Lane in Hallsley, was featured in the recent Massey Street of Hope which benefitted the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Main Street Homes crafted an exceptional model home, which won over visitors to the Street of Hope. The Lane took home Best Kitchen for the $660,000-$690,000 price point, and we completely agree. With an amazing open feel, an oversized island and aesthetically-pleasing eat-in area, it is no wonder the judges awarded this honor to the Lane.

We continue to build the best homes in the Richmond area, and the Parade of Homes judges certainly agree. There is nothing out there like a Main Street home! See for yourself while you still can– tour all of the award-winning models and MORE by Main Street Homes every weekend from 12P–5P, ending on October 25th. Learn more here.
