A Seamless Journey to Your Dream Home

Your new home journey with Main Street Homes begins long before your orientation. It starts when you connect with our Online Sales Consultant, who helps you find the perfect new home community in the Richmond area, whether that’s in Chesterfield, Amelia, Henrico, Powhatan, Hanover, Goochland, or New Kent County. Once you’ve chosen your community, you’ll meet with your New Home Sales Consultant, who guides you through selecting your ideal floor plan and homesite. 

Then comes the fun part: your Design Studio Experience. With the help of our expert Design Team, you’ll select every finish, fixture, and feature that reflects your personal style and lifestyle needs. From countertops and cabinetry to flooring and lighting, this is where your new home in Central Virginia truly becomes yours.

After that, construction begins, and you’ll meet your Construction Manager, who keeps you informed through each phase of building your home, from foundation and framing to finishing touches. Once the dust settles, it’s time for your New Home Orientation.

What Is the New Home Orientation?

The New Home Orientation is one of the final steps in the Main Street Homes building experience, and one of the most meaningful. It’s your opportunity to walk through your newly completed home alongside your Community Field Rep, who will explain how everything works and make sure every detail meets our high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

During your orientation, we’ll:

• Review the features, systems, and warranties that come with your home
• Demonstrate the operation of key components such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Review home maintenance best practices to help protect your investment
• Conduct a detailed inspection together to ensure everything looks and functions as it should

This walkthrough is your time to ask questions, learn about the functionality of your home, and get to know the durable, name-brand products that make Main Street Homes one of the most trusted homebuilders in Richmond, VA.
